After receiving this as a Christmas gift, my husband and I were excited to put it up! However, despite our efforts to follow the instructions as carefully as possible, we could not get the rails to lock in place. We researched it on the internet and found that many people had the same problem and were very frustrated, giving this play yard bad reviews because of its difficulty to put up. We asked an employee at the store where we bought it how to set it up, and she wasn't sure, either. After we played with their display for a while, we discovered the trick. This play yard is actually VERY SIMPLE to put up, you just have to do it this way.
